So these past couple weeks I finally gotten a new juicer (since we burnt through the last one..boo) and have been extensively trying to stick to a healthy regime. Home made juices always taste so fresh and it's like your body says thank you every time. To be honest, I have been feeling a lot better and alert, less sloth like in the mornings and can genuinely feel a good start to my day!
This particular reciple is for detoxing, but I wouldn't mind drinking it any time, it has a kind of tangy yet subtly sweet taste..you can hardly taste the vegetable taste thanks to the ginger & lemon.
Here's what I used:
Celery- 4 stalks, leaves removed
Apple - 2
Lemon- 1/2, peeled
Ginger- 1 inch or so
Kale - a couple of leaves (didn't exactly measure, let's say a handful)
You can always alter the measurements to your taste and preference or add more apple for sweetness.
Be sure to give it a good stir/shake before drinking...
